BabybeeBooks News January February March April May June July
I tried my best to get an Odyssey page done, but the Midway monopolized my time by rejecting a number of my strips. The whole ordeal was rather humorous and will make for a funny three-day-update during the summer. Here's a Midway Comic, and I've ranked my old ones according to funniness (sic). New Hippo material next week. Hippo's tale is going to strange places.
This story is getting more and more farfetched. I never wake up scared and confused; I usually wake up hungry and angry.
I've transcribed a conversation to show you how the creative process works. Weedy: Two figures, Athena and Zeus, will start Hippo's Odyssey, just like Odysseus'. These gods will try to wash her because she smells like garbage from her night of debauchery. Bog: What if Hippo ate a WHOLE PIG! Weedy: I think we just thought up our page.
Each weeks' news will be at the bottom of the page. This week I put up art for A Midsummer Night's Dream and an old Midway Comic. I would have drawn a new page to Hippo's Odyssey, but it's AP weekend: Judgement Day. When all the procrastinators and do-nothings and acedemic miscreants are called upon to make account for themselves. "What were you doing all month and why weren't you studying?" "I was busy, your honor. I was busy reading webcomics."
When I told Bog to incorporate nipples into each page, I was kidding. |
