Something about a Supreme Court case of schools impeding freedom of speach. In the business, this is an example of "phoning it in."
This comic is on a bus shooting that happened in Chicago. It's a Hi-Larious subjects to work with and I'm glad I wasn't assigned to any serious articles with titles such as "Dance Team Sad."
The newspaper wanted a spread summarizing the school year. They didn't have time to ask for one that was less macabre, so they had to accompany this with the title: The School Year as Seen by Midway Cartoonist Eric Fama Cochrane (we don't know what's wrong with him.)
